Anne O Nomis is the elusive author of the acclaimed book, ‘The History & Arts of the Dominatrix’. She is well-regarded Internationally as an expert in Dominance studies, and featured on Sky History’s Sex: A Bonkers History with UK celebrity Amanda Holden, filmed at the Feud Museum London.
Anne began her research into Dominance history and arts in 2009, and has been teaching since 2015. Her Seven Realm Arts certificate course is amongst the most recommended by Mistresses within Australia and around the world.
She has also taught at DomCon NOLA, Oz Kink Fest, and given private talks at the Freud Museum London, keynote speaker for CARAS C2C Los Angeles and keynote speaker for the British Society of Aesthetics Postgraduate Conference at University of Kent. She ran Villa Domme in Italy and Portugal alongside “dear tom” from 2018 - 2023 annually in all years except during Covid-19 with border closures.
She holds a Masters degree in Comparative Art & Archaeology from UCL (University College London), and Bachelors degree in Art History & Theory.
Anne is honoured to be the newest and youngest member of the International Leather Hall of Fame Selection Committee, alongside community legends such as Robert “Bob”Miller, Gayle Rubin, Robert Bienvenu, Guy Baldwin, Viola Johnson and others from USA, UK and Europe.
Her full-time work is as a specialist, speaker and consultant in responses to force power, on which she is presently writing a new book.
