What do I bring with me to Inana Retreat?

1) Comfortable clothes for class & socialising that you feel good in.

For some this is sun dress, for others this is leather pants, for others this is linen clothing. Whatever YOU feel comfortable in will be great.

2) Elements of shiny fetish attire - leather, latex, PVC, velvet, suspender stockings, fetish boots or stiletto shoes.

It’s fun to be able to dress up with elements of fetish as desired for play or practicum. Every Mistress who comes has her own style and comfort with particular clothing and there is significant diversity and personality in how this plays out.

However as it’s one of the primary concerns of newcomers, I have pasted in a few images below just illustrating some of the range of looks that FemDoms have worn over the years.

3) Themed dinner attire - Red Goddess, Inana attire, Carnival attire;

and for subs & slaves - suitable attire complimentary

4) Subs / slaves to bring feminisation attire / androgyny attire, or coordinate with Mistress to bring for them.

5) Swimsuit (some FemDoms even bring 2 swimsuits, to alternate when one is wet and drying with another. You’re welcome to bring a cover-up sarong also as you wish. Whatever makes you feel comfortable.)

6) Warm layers (eg jumper / jacket) for temperature drop particularly for evenings and early morning.

New attendees often underestimate that despite being in the Mediterranean, it can be cold in early June, and particularly in the evening and early morning or on days in which the sun is hiding behind the clouds. So definitely bring a jumper or layers you can add to keep you warm.

7) Practical for outdoors

  • Mosquito repellant - every year this is a “thing”. I always buy some for the villa but good to have your own also.

  • Sunscreen - as above. I always buy some for the villa, but good to have your own also.

  • Sun hat - definitely necessary.

  • Rain jacket - I bring a thin layer rain jacket that folds up small and I can slip into my handbag. As we’re visiting archaeological sites that we will potentially be clambering over, we want to enjoy even if it’s raining.

  • Attire and shoes suitable for day trip to archaeology sites - eg hiking pants, hiking shirt / top, hiking shoes

  • Shoes for the villa and garden surrounds

8) Toiletries

  • Shampoo, conditioner & any hair-styling products.

  • Any skincare that you can’t live without.

  • Optionally: any make-up you wish to bring with you, and make-up removal wipes or facecloth for make-up removal.

  • Menstrual products - tampons, pads, menstrual underwear or cups, etc.

  • Things I also bring for my travel in general but not required for Inana Retreat per se - are:

    • a small packable microfibres towel from hiking store. Packs tiny and comes in handy to have.

    • a mini 50 ml bottle of Dr. Bronners soap which is great for hand-washing when hand soap dispensers have run out, or washing underwear in the sink at an overnight stop-over etc (I personally get lemon as I love its fresh scent - but many of the scents are great), or getting a stain out of some clothing. It’s highly concentrated so just a few drops works.

    • a mini 50 ml skin moisturiser for the plane

    • small packet of disinfectant wipes - I get the 20 wipe size or 2 x 10 wipes and by end of my travel I’ve typically used them all up along the way.

    • travel pillow for plane or waiting in airports etc.

    • I also have a small black microfibre fleece travel blanket similar to what planes provide but which has a smaller pack-down size. This is great for when air-con is too cold on plane, or to drape over my legs or around shoulders while outside at a restaurant if the temperature drops suddenly, I can pull it out of my large handbag.
